I am happy that i found Maria. She is patient. I am comfortable and do not feel self conscious. I have had approximately 10 lessons. My language skills have improved because of my lessons with Maria

Maria is a very good teacher! She's very patient, and the lessons are very casual and fun (in the best way). I feel comfortable making mistakes, which is probably most important for me while practicing.
I recommend her very much to everyone, and especially if you're in that phase where it's heard for you to understand what you hear in Portuguese, as she really adjusts the pace of speech and pronounces the words very clearly. I also really recommend her podcast to support your learning!
